Central West Specialized Developmental Services is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors since 1975. CWSDS provides a wide range of supportive living and community-based services for individuals and families. In addition to five homes located at 53 Bond Street, we operate eight homes in the Halton community. In the Halton region, we support approximately 8,000 families and individuals through our community-based programs including Halton Support Services, Dual Diagnosis Services, the Central West Network of Specialized Care and Passport.
The “Reverse Respite” program was designed to help families who provide 24/7 care for their loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities with complex needs.
