Housing & ShelterFundraising goal: $10,000
Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga-Dufferin launched a unique, hands-on building experience for high school students with the building of five tiny homes on school facilities. All homes will relocate to a partner First Nation Community in Fall 2022.
Students from Garth Webb Secondary School in Oakville were part of this program through the building of custom cabinetry. This program will launch again in September with the building of six more tiny homes that will relocate to two additional first nations communities. We welcome Garth Webb Secondary School again to participate in elements of this build and are looking to raise funds to cover the costs of those materials needed.
