Families in the Hearts4Ukraine program, primarily women and children, have fled some of the hardest hit areas during the invasion of Ukraine or from areas currently under occupation. Your generous donation will help establish a stable foundation for up to 20 newcomer families starting a new life in Oakville.
Funds will be used to help pay for rental accommodation for up to a year and secure household essentials. Additionally, the program will focus on education to ensure families develop necessary English language skills, that students are properly equipped for school with laptops, printers and other essentials, and post-secondary students are supported to meet the financial challenges attending Sheridan College in Oakville.
