Oakville Galleries is an award-winning museum for contemporary art, focusing on exhibiting contemporary artists from across Canada and around the world and providing quality public programs and arts education to the local community. Over the past 30 years Oakville Galleries has built a collection of over 1,000 works by contemporary Canadian artists which is shared in public buildings throughout Oakville.
Governed by a volunteer board of directors drawn from the local community, Oakville Galleries is incorporated as a non-profit organization and is a registered charity. A single entity, Oakville Galleries operates 2 separate facilities leased from the Town: Centennial Gallery, in downtown Oakville, and Gairloch Gallery in Gairloch Gardens.
