Raaga Mosale is The Foundation’s summer co-op student from White Oaks Secondary School. This summer, she’ll be working on compiling a list of prospective Fundholders, sending letters to Fundholders and brainstorming ideas for a community connection initiative.
Raaga moved to Oakville when she started high school and is now entering her final year. Her goal is to study business and economics at an Ontario university. What excites Raaga the most about her next chapter in life is the freedom to choose her own path and dive deeper into subjects that she’s passionate about.
Her time volunteering doing grants and fundraising is the reason she chose to complete her co-op with The Foundation. She wants to learn more about the non-profit space.
“I’m someone who loves a team environment, whether we’re tackling a specific project or just talking day-to-day. That’s a big reason for why I’m enjoying it here at OCF; it’s an environment where open communication is encouraged, and we can always have great conversations,” says Raaga.
Outside of work, she likes to relax and wind down by listening to music. She enjoys emptying her mind to focus only on the lyrics and melodies. Her favourite genre of music is hip hop.
Raaga brings warmth and friendliness to the office and the team is looking forward to working alongside her this summer.
