As a family we care about many causes from animal welfare to poverty reduction. However, from the time they were babies, we have encouraged our children to engage with nature, care about the environment and return to the outdoors for connection and peace. Summers spent at the lake, fall walks through many of the province’s trails, spring gardening and winter ski lessons are happy memories. A concern for our environment is a unifying feature of our philanthropy.
Our objective with this fund is to celebrate and protect nature in spaces across Canada so they are here for generations to come.
