In 2018, The Foundation explored NEET for the first time in the Vital Youth Report: a Tale of Two Childhoods. This is an update on the NEET indicator that is critical to understanding the local youth experience as they transition to adulthood. It tells us about how the young people in our community are faring and whether they are on the path to future success.
NEET refers to the proportion of youth, between the ages of 15-29, who are not in employment, education or training.
