Mental health is usually invisible to the naked eye. But you can see it – and help fellow Ontarians live with it – when you know where and how to look for it.
The Kevin Flynn Mental Health Foundation is a new organization established to support research in the areas of mental health. Kevin Flynn, former MPP for Oakville, chaired the all-party committee on mental health and addictions for four years, and it opened his eyes to the hidden issues individuals face everyday. His role in politics exposed him to localized issues, as well as systemic ones. By establishing the Kevin Flynn Mental Health Foundation his hopes are to both raise funds to support long-term needs in research, while also serving to educate.
