Are you ready to make a long-lasting mark on your local community?
Would you like to boost your impact by working together with a group of like-minded women?
Then we’d like to invite you to join the Oakville Women’s Giving Collective.
Welcome to the Women’s Giving Collective!

The Women’s Giving Collective (WGC) is our community of Oakville-based women committed to pooling our collective philanthropic power for greater impact in Oakville.
We are so happy you want to join us!
Our mandate is to create a community of Oakville-based women committed to learning about local issues and needs and to direct our collective giving to help local charities with their specific initiatives. We are pleased to be a program of the Oakville Community Foundation (OCF) and have grown from an initial matching grant of $25,000 made in 2018.
Our objective is to create a sustainable endowed fund that sustains annual granting to deserving charities.
Our impact (to date) is that we have granted over $70,000 to four local charities. Our most recent grant of $13,399.39 in 2025 was provided to two charities: The Children’s Aid Society for youth out of care and Heartache 2 Hope. Each charity received $6,699.69 through GIVEOakville so that funds can be eligible for a top-up match from the OCF.
Through the WGC, you can tap into the collective power of amazing local women like you, working together. By participating in the WGC, you can give back to and learn about your community while benefiting from camaraderie, connections and support – we’ve been at this since 2018. Check out our WGC Events list!
We’re building a new approach to women’s philanthropy that will last for generations.
Is the WGC for you?
