Kiki Sauriol-Roode

I recently left the corporate world after 31 years, and am currently working towards securing my real estate license, and will join my son in the business!  I will leverage my business experience and history developing a strategy in real estate for a mortgage insurance firm, to kick-start a family business.

For the past 7 years I have served as Chair of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, a charity focussed on supporting shelters across Canada that provide support and safety to women and children escaping intimate partner violence.  I am also involved annually in the Princess Margaret Walk to Cure Cancer.

In my spare time I dabble in acrylic and water colour painting, and play hockey and golf.  And, I’m a newbie to pickleball! I have 2 children (24 and 21) and my husband and I have called Oakville home for 27 years. I’m originally from Halifax, NS.

Nicola Milne

Hi, I’m Nicola Milne. I live in Oakville with my husband, our two children, and our very affectionate Havanese. I work in the financial services industry in Toronto, and when I’m not at work I’m usually chasing after my 6‑year‑old and 1‑year‑old, out for a run, or planting something new in the garden. Supporting women and children in need is deeply important to me, and I’m excited to join the WGC to connect with women in our Oakville community who share that passion and to make a meaningful impact together.

Rachel Sumner

British by birth, Canadian by choice, I have spent the last ten years in Ontario after a few years spent in Nova Scotia launching a new program at Dalhousie University. I’ve been in love with a persistent problem for almost all of my professional career; the skills gap, and dedicate my time and energy to addressing this problem through a variety of different roles both in the not-for-profit and commercial sectors. Home life is equally busy as a blended family with 5 young adults in their late teens and early to mid twenties, one of which is fully launched and the others a work in progress! When schedules allow, we love to travel, hike, garden and cook family meals. I am also an avid reader, often with more than one book on the go. I look forward to learning more about the Oakville community through this wonderful initiative.
