If you’re like me, I often get emails sent to me from a number of Board members, colleagues and Fundholders about issues of interest regarding the philanthropy sector. As I don’t have time to read all of them, I bookmark for a future date. Well, that time is now and I thought that in the spirit of holiday giving, I would also share this list with you.
One area of discussions that has been garnering a lot of attention is the role of philanthropy in society— is philanthropy a change agent or does it protect the status quo? Is there too much donor dominance? Some of these entries are provocative given The Foundation’s model with Donor Advised Funds at its core.
