The following organizations are providing essential relief to those impacted. If you are a Foundation Fundholder and wish to direct a grant from your Fund at The Foundation, please contact our team – Frances@theocf.org or Michelle@theocf.org or through your Fundholder portal.
Donations can be made directly outside of an existing Fund with The Foundation, simply click on the link to the organization and follow their prompts.
- Canadian Red Cross – Please note the Federal Government has completed their $10 million match.
- Doctors without Borders
- Humanitarian Coalition (includes OXFAM, World Vision, Islamic Relief) The Canadian government will match donations to the Humanitarian Coalition and its member charities up to $10 million for emergency assistance to survivors of the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria. Coalition consists of 12 charities including: Action Against Hunger, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Canadian Lutheran World Relief, CARE Canada, Doctors of the World, Humanity & Inclusion, Islamic Relief Canada, Oxfam Canada, Oxfam-Québec, Plan International Canada, Save the Children Canada, World Vision Canada.
