Join us on November 10 for the OFFICIAL LAUNCH of the Oakville Resiliency Report!

We’re very excited to be launching the Oakville Resiliency Report this November, and we want to give you an exclusive in-depth look at the report with members of our Team!

The Oakville Community Foundation’s Oakville Resiliency Report: Neighbours Helping Neighbours delves into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on local Oakville-area charities and sets the stage for The Foundation’s fall granting program.

The report looks at the longstanding connection between the community and the charitable sector, and how that relationship has been heavily relied upon during the COVID-19 pandemic. From food insecurity to shelter needs, from health to recreation, the community continues to lean on local charities to support and supplement their needs during this time of isolation and, for some, lack of work.

The Foundation undertook this report to support its GIVEOakville 2020 initiative, an online crowdfunding campaign for local charitable organizations seeking up to $25,000. The catalogue of more than 45 charities is open until December 15th and allows community members to contribute to support the greatest needs in Oakville. An additional $100,000 from The Foundation’s Oakville Resiliency Fund will complement donations.

Learn all about the report, the charities featured in GIVEOakville and more on November 10!

This event will be on Zoom from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
