Exciting News for Our Members

Some of our members have had some very exciting updates over the past few months! We wanted to share their great news with all of you, as no doubt you’ll agree, well deserved acknowledgements! Congrats to all of them!

Bindu has joined the National GC Network

Our very own Bindu Cudjoe has joined forces with twelve other counsel members to launch the National GC Network. This network consists of thirteen racialized general counsel, with a mandate to bring issues of equity, diversity and inclusion to the forefront of their organizations.

The group has outlined a list of eight goals for 2021 which includes promoting Black, Indigenous and other racialized lawyers, providing continuing education opportunities, and developing mentorship programs for people from diverse backgrounds. The network will also create a checklist of questions that general counsel can address to external counsel about diversity and inclusion.

We’re very excited to see what other work comes from this amazing network in the future!
