After more than a decade of service, Sarah McPherson, Vice President of Philanthropy, is making a difficult decision and is leaving the Oakville Community Foundation to move closer to her family.
With more than 12 years of service, Sarah leaves behind a considerable legacy. Sarah joined The Foundation in 2011 and since then has been part of a number of milestones in The Foundation’s history. She was instrumental in implementing the first corporate brand and comprehensive communications program, developing new innovative development programs such as the new Grant & Grow Fund, as well as creating the Women’s Giving Collective. She also developed and led multiple years of the now-annual GIVEOakville crowdfunding campaign.
We are grateful for her years of service to both The Foundation and the Oakville community and we wish her, and her family, well in all her new endeavours.
