There is something very powerful about the arts— nothing gives us a better understanding of ourselves or the world in which we live.
They can be our “voice” of expression when it’s tough to communicate otherwise. The arts can enhance our confidence, resilience and encourage us to take risks. They can influence our academic goals in other areas, like languages, math, science and technology. They can shape our futures with career choices we may never regret. They can guide us socially, emotionally and help us build lasting relationships. And, they can help ArtHouse kids and their families feel like they’re part of a community. Without access to the arts, they could lose the chance to succeed. Our role is to support them — every step of the way!
