Community Education Awards Hub

Open to students throughout Halton, the Education Awards Hub is a one-stop-shop for highschool and post-secondary students seeking financial aid on their journey to self sustainability.

Our faith guides us to help our neighbours in need. At HCCF, we strive to do this by providing financial assistance to students and their families in need – creating Hope, Dignity & Equity so that students can access learning and education without financial barriers to success.

The vision of Halton Learning Foundation is to ensure that all students of the HDSB have equal opportunities for participation, engagement and success. In the last school year, over 1,430 students received emergency funding for food, clothing, school supplies and other basics, ensuring that no student is left behind.

Home Suite Hope unites a network of vital support services for single parents and their children to encourage and support them as they journey from poverty to stability.

We are Oakville Community FIRST Robotics— Halton’s only community-based competitive robotics team, open to all youth from grades 5 to 12.

Academic support for youth at risk has been at the core of Safetynet’s mandate since the charity was established in 2006. For a family living in poverty, paying for academic help is impossible and results in incredible inequality of opportunity.

The Start2Finish (“S2F”) approach, which is grounded on the belief that no child goes off the rails when someone has genuinely cared about them, empowers children to achieve success.

BMI is filling this gap through mentorship, education and skill building, empowering black professionals with the tools they need to reach their highest potential.

Community Classroom brings arts, culture, heritage and environmental programs to Oakville’s publicly funded elementary students free of charge.

We provide child care for children 0-6 and take tremendous pride in serving quality child care to the community for over 30 years.

This project will raise questions about Oakville’s Truth such as: “What happened to the local Treaty holders, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation?”
