BMI provides unique programs to foster growth, empower, and promote professional advancement through mentoring, education, and skills building, thus building a better, more inclusive, and equitable workforce. We impact participants by implementing three core principles:
- Build mentorship relationships by connecting a Mentee and a Mentor – provide opportunities to learn, strive, experience, and build on Reverse Mentorship opportunities, and;
- Offer a safe space where professionals share challenges of being Black professionals in the Canadian workforce and are offered the building blocks to reach their fullest potentials, and;
- Deliver personal and professional development, life-skills training, and on-going one-on-one feedback sessions.
