“Anxious, stressed, sad.”
That’s how Canadians described their feelings in a recent poll about mental health during the pandemic. In fact, 41% of people across the country are reporting a decline in their mental health and an “echo pandemic” of metal health concerns has been predicted.
The Canadian Mental Health Association Halton Region Branch will lead our community’s mental health pandemic recovery by developing and providing free skills-based groups to make high-quality, equitable support accessible to a wide range of community members. We will help our friends and neighbours cope better and emerge from the pandemic healthy, resilient, and thriving.
