Halton Food for Thought’s (HFFT) vision is a region in which no student goes hungry at school. In partnership with the community, and both school boards, HFFT is the sole provider of Student Nutrition Programs (SNPs) in Halton Region for students from JK through to Grade 12.
Programs consist of nutritious meals and snacks provided before or during the school day at no cost. All HFFT SNPs are universal, stigma-free, open to all students and are reflective of their school community, and our diverse Halton Region. We believe that through the provision of healthy food at school, every student has their best chance to succeed.
