Halton Learning Foundation works to ensure that every HDSB student can focus on their learning and achieving their future with:
- Eliminating Barriers funds providing emergency funding for students and their families for food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, field trips, post-secondary applications, and other items. By meeting emergency needs, students can be fully engaged in class.
- School Engagement funds which allow schools that do not have the capacity to fundraise to create a level playing field for schools to create mental health, well-being, Indigenous awareness, and equity projects to benefit all students in that school.
- Scholarships that are available to helps students continue their learning journey beyond HDSB.
