Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre
Arts, Culture & HeritageFundraising goal: $25,000
In collaboration with the YMCA of Oakville and Community Living Oakville, the Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre is aiming to run year-round programs and camps, hosted at JCHAC.
Education Camps will be centred around resiliency and personal development. Mindfulness lessons, community garden education, art therapy, and exploring the natural world will be at the core of these K-12 programs. In addition, JCHAC will be providing leadership programs for our 14-17 year olds. The leadership programs are designed to create resilience in emerging youth today. JCHAC’s goal is to provide year-round support, mentorship, and complement the needs of young adults, allowing them to support the younger camp programs.
