Oakville Meals on Wheels Vision (OMoW) is : Everyone, regardless of age, ability, health, income or living circumstances, lives in an inclusive community where they are well-nourished, safe and connected and are able to live independently with dignity.
OMoW has been serving the Oakville community for over 45 years delivering nutritious meals and wellness checks to seniors, people with disabilities, those with critical health issues, enabling them to live more independently in their homes where they prefer to be. During the pandemic, subsidized service was extended to homeless and those with mental health issues. OMoW works with over 80 volunteers who donated an estimated 9,000 hours to deliver an astounding 30,300 + meals per year.
