Oakville is a beautiful community, with breathtaking harbours, a thriving arts community, and an array of delectable dining options. However, amidst this idyllic setting, there are families who are fighting for their survival.
The team at Safetynet provides free essential services to marginalized individuals and families. These services bring comfort and stability to those who are struggling— furniture for a barren home, plates for a bare kitchen, diapers for a precious baby, warm clothing to protect against the winds of winter, and tutoring and music lessons for children and youth. Safetynet’s facility is a sanctuary, offering a helping hand to anyone who enters its doors, regardless of their circumstances, over 6,500 families so far.
