Academic support for youth at risk has been at the core of Safetynet’s mandate since the charity was established in 2006. For a family living in poverty, paying for academic help is impossible and results in incredible inequality of opportunity. Our Tutoring Program offers free one-on-one academic assistance to our clients, providing a supportive environment that matches compassionate volunteer tutors with students in weekly one-hour sessions.
