The Darling Home for Kids offers a combination of unique programs and services to families raising a medically complex child and is there for our families in times of transition and crises, offering emotional support and healthcare navigation as needed.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, acute care settings and community partners, we provide essential respite, hospice, palliative, and residential care to families when they need it most. With goals of developing healthy peer supports, sharing resources, and emotional preparation for stressful situations, we’ve created effective and engaging Family Support Programs facilitated by our Social Worker.
