The Women’s Centre of Halton is a dedicated space where women can learn, grow, and receive support. Our Centre was established in 1989, and we have remained committed to empowering women in Halton to improve their quality of life, reach their full potential and improve their well-being. We often serve as a vital resource for women in crisis, distress or who are in transition and/or seeking a fresh start.
Our free services and programs which promote self-sufficiency and human dignity include peer support, life skills coaching, legal clinics, family court support drop-ins, trauma and abuse counseling, and employment coaching among many others. We also offer a variety of workshops that promote community building and personal development.
